Emma has really started playing

January 1, 2004 by Amy

Emma has really started playing with her baby dolls lately. She hugs them, feeds them and even rocks them sometimes.

Emma got so much stuff for Christmas. Lots of Little People sets and lots of baby dolls. She is not an expert at opening her presents, but is able to help pull the paper. She surprisingly loved it when she got clothes, especially if they were on a hanger. She held it up and walked around with it.

Emma was sick yesterday and today with the stomach virus. We are not supposed to give her milk for 2 days and we’re taking the opportunity to wean her off the bottle since that is the only thing she takes in it. I’m hoping she will start taking the milk in the sippy cup once she has had two days of taking other liquids in sippy cups. She has never had a problem with sippy cups, she has just never wanted her milk in one of them.
