Lexi crawled last night. She

June 14, 2005 by Amy

Lexi crawled last night. She was trying to do it so fast it was funny. She was trying to go after Emma down the hall. Scott and I looked at each other with our eyes wide. She hasn’t gotten it down to a science yet but it won’t be long until she’s everywhere!

Scott is almost done with the room. He just needs to do a piece of moulding under the door where it is not covering the floor all the way. He finished the caulking last night. We also need some blinds/curtains. We are running out of money though. This took way more money than we thought. But it is definitely been worth it, we use it all the time.

Scott also built a swingset for the girls this weekend. Emjma absolutely loves it and wants out there all the time. She doesn’t know how to swing herself yet so she can’t go by herself. Lexi loves the baby swing. She fell asleep in the one at Mom’s the other day.

If you need a gallery

June 6, 2005 by Amy

If you need a gallery for your digital pictures online of your own, I highly recommend TinyWebGallery.

All you have to do is upload the script once and then dump your pictures into directories underneath. It creates the thumbnails for you and everything. So simple and it does slideshows and everything. Very cool.

Try mine out:

Emma counted to 10 last

June 1, 2005 by Amy

Emma counted to 10 last night plain as day and all by herself. That is the first time it was clear she knew what she was doing. It’s so weird how it just comes out of the blue.

Lexi has GOT to start sleeping at night. Not only did she get up at 10, 12:30, 4:30, she was up at 6:30 for the day. Ugh. At least she has started taking longer naps. She’s a pleasant little girl though. Unless she is hungry or tired, you rarely hear anything but babble out of her. She is a maniac in her johnny jump up, she gets that thing swinging. She hops 2 or 3 times and then picks her feet up for the ride. It’s the cutest thing ever.

MIL got a new position and won’t be coming to get Emma on Wednesdays. Of course. I always enjoyed that time as much as Emma did. I love Emma to death but caring for one baby is just flat out easier than two. If Lexi would go with her, I’d probably let her go too. As long as my kids are happy, I don’t really care if they go or not. I just can’t stand it when they go and don’t want to be there. I know my job as a mother is not to make them happy, but I do what I can.
