SYTYCD Finale

August 17, 2007 by Amy

So I’ve been keeping up with this show but haven’ t mentioned it too much.  It seems the ones going each week were pretty predictable and if not predictable, ok by me.  The top 4 though was a little questionable about who would go first and who would win.  To me, Lacey had seemed to be a crowd favorite from the get-go.  But as my sister and I agreed, she was consistently good, but Sabra and Danny really showed some improvement through the season.  Danny had a very, very strong night Wednesday night and I thought–and hoped–for sure he would win, especially when I saw Lacey dropped out first.  I am very happy with the results.  Sabra is an AMAZING dancer.  She makes everything look so natural and yet so professional.  She has so much attitude and yet is humble.  Danny is simply amazing.  His lines and techniques are far beyond anyone else I think.  I’m no expert but I don’t think anyone can argue with that.  So I have to admit to chanting Danny’s name as Cat rambled on and fidgeted with envelopes (I love Cat, but the suspense seemed to last forever).  I was disappointed that Danny didn’t win, but it was good to see a female win and Sabra definitely deserves it as well.  I definitely think this was the best season so far and am looking forward to next year!
