I’m a sock

August 21, 2007 by Amy

I was looking at the picture of this sock the other night and Lexi walks up to the computer and says “That’s me!” as she normally does when she sees a picture of herself but obviously this is clearly not a picture of her.  So here went the conversation:

Lexi (excitedly) : that’s me

Me (decidedly) : that’s not you.  that’s a sock
Lexi (emphatically): that’s not a sock that’s me.
Me (certainly): no, it’s a sock.
Lexi: (confusedly): I’m a sock??
Me : i start laughing
Lexi: that’s not punny

I’m nodding my head through the whole conversation, because I’ve had ones like it. Often.
