I was feeling better today than yesterday yet still worn out. Pretty normal day today. Two things worthy of note though.
Scott was SO anxious to get back to work that he called his dr this morning to get his visit moved up from this Thursday to today. So at his appt at 11:45 today, he was officially released to return to work. Not even 3 weeks after his surgery. He just can not stand pushing papers in the office. Something really worthy to note though is the fact the dr mentioned that this is considered a loss and he will probably be compensated for it. Knock on wood but that could be cool.
In other somewhat noteworthy news, Scott had his first board meeting with the girls preschool. He was asked this year to be on the Board of Directors. That sounds so funny. But that’s not the news. He spoke with the preschool director and said Lexi was a ham during school pictures today. In fact, I think she said she was like a mini Ms. Hollywood. Which is fabulous. Because last year’s fall pictures, you can tell she had been crying a bit. Hopefully these will turn out really good. I just thought it was funny that someone else noticed that she seems to be coming out of her shell in front of people, especially in front of a camera and/or crowds. As I’ve said before..as long as I don’t see S e x y L e x i in neon lights one day…
Oh and on a side note, I went to the dentist this morning and no cavities, yay!
