This site suggested we should re-post our first blog entry. Well, what you guys probably don’t know is my archives on this site aren’t complete. I actually started this blog back in March 2002. I had a server cutover which lost some of my posts. They are saved thank goodness on my hard drive in html files. Because I wasn’t smart enough to realize you could export posts at the time in Movable Type. So they’ve just been sitting there.
So I’ve copied and pasted my very first blog entry into a post here all for your enjoyment. It is a really crappy, random post but here ya go.
Maybe this will give my the umph to actually re-post those year and a half worth of blog entries which include the birth of Emma. You know, I should work on that. If I lose my hard drive, they are gone.
And just for the record, I still hate ice in my cup.
My you always have snow cones and slushies to melt in your mouth and straws to drink with.
I shall add you to the list post haste or very soon at least. Glad you saved that first post!
Perhaps you could start a new category/series; “The lost posts” and slowly bring back all those posts back into the fold. Like a weekly series type thing. You could even add an button in your sidebar linking to the “Lost Posts”.
Yeah, I know…me and my ideas. 🙂
That’s actually a great idea. I already do Vintage Posts which are from my handwritten diaries as a teenager. Lost Posts would fit right in.
Alright! Renews my faith in the fact that I can still cook up a good idea or two despite the fact that I’m old(er). 🙂
