Sunday Scripture

December 16, 2007 by Amy

Sorry this is a bit late.  Busy weekend!  My scripture this week is actually some lyrics to the chorus of a song.  We had our choir cantata today and there was on old song sung that I still love the words to.

HE KNEW ME, YET HE LOVED ME
HE WHOSE GLORY MAKES THE HEAVENS SHINE
SO UNWORTHY OF SUCH MERCY
YET WHEN HE WAS ON THE CROSS
I WAS ON HIS MIND.

So how about you? To participate, simply post a verse, a set of verses or even just a reference to a verse that means something to you now or maybe even in the past. Explain why it’s important or don’t. It’s up to you. Go now and post and then come back. Post your name and then a direct link to you blog entry. If you don’t have a blog, feel free to leave yours in the comments. Here is the code for the graphic above.

Wow, what a great song. I’m often humbled by how unworthy I feel at times for the sacrifice that He made for me, but then He chose to do so, because He deemed me worthy.
