Let the summer begin

June 5, 2008 by Amy

Well, our pool I think is officially open.  We’ve been working on it since Scott got back from Turkey a few weeks ago.  It’s still cloudy but I think the chemicals are balanced enough.  Scott got in it today to try to get a few handful of leaves still in it.  The kids went ahead and got in it as well.  Scott’s on his way back to the pool store to get the chemicals checked for a third time.  We are really trying to get it ready for our nephew’s graduation party here this weekend.

It officially feels like summer though.  The kids are in and out of the sprinkler and the pool, taking breaks to eat chips and watermelon on the porch….and dripping water all over my new hardwoods and letting flies in.  Yep, let the summer begin.
