Tuesday Randomness

I think maybe I’m reading so much that I just don’t feel creative enough to write.  Or maybe it’s because I’m not getting enough sleep.  And work is really busy.  Something like that.  But here’s a few things of randomness:

  • Lexi had a dentist appointment yesterday to get a tooth filled.  She was REALLY talkative so I hit the record button on my iPhone and got some of it. I think the dental assistant’s Southern accent is just as entertaining.
  • I’m having issues with Rob Pattinson being Edward.  He’s got nice, chiseled features but he’s shorter than I thought and not gorgeous as the book might describe.  I have yet to come up with an actor to replace him with though. *Update* I just read he is 6’1″.  OK, so maybe he’s growing on me.
  • I’m about 1/3 of the way through Breaking Dawn.  Jury is still out on this one.  Had a great beginning but now I’m in Book Two and it’s waning a bit.
  • We didn’t go out at all last night.  Scott got bored and remade my shelf in the laundry room.  It is bigger to hold all the great cleaning supplies I bought at KMart on double coupons.
  • Yesterday’s Isagenix cleanse day was pretty easy compared to last time.  I decided to just do one day. I was down two pounds this morning.  But it won’t last long as I’m prepared to eat WELL for dinner tonight.
  • I realized the New Kids on the Block concert I’m going to with Melissa is THIS Thursday.  I haven’t been following them since their comeback but we were huge fans back in the day.  And we got tickets for twenty bucks so couldn’t really pass that up.

If you were a huge fan of NKOTB long ago… you won’t be disappointed.

Or at least that was the consensus of the fans last night @ MSG.

When reading the book (before the movie was cast) I kept thinking of Hayden Christianson as Edward. But mainly because Edward’s dialogue was so cheesy that I knew Hayden’s equally cheesy acting would be a perfect fit. *lol*

Jane, you’re a genius! I have no idea how he acts, but he LOOKS great for the part!

Ack, I didn’t enjoy Book 2 much…its the whole Jac0b thing. Although, the chapter titles were oh so creative!

I can’t say I’m disappointed in Rob’s casting (LOVE his crazy hair), but am abit leary on how Kristen will do. Her personality seems alittle flat for my liking.

yeah, i agree on the chapter titles. love them.

i keep going back and forth on Rob. at the moment, i think it was the right pick.
