American Idol – SF Night 1

January 21, 2009 by Amy

Last night’s episode was a bit boring.  No one that was horrendous to entertain and no one that blew me away to root for.

Puerto Rico girl and Jesus were questionable on whether they should have made it through.

Adam Lambert, the Wicked guy I think could be really good.  Cute and good voice.  Very dramatic but I think he could switch that up.

Kai of course was my favorite for the night.  Very cute, insanely sweet, great backstory and good voice.  I agree he needs to work on his stage presence.  That will kill him past Hollywood.

A friend of mine from home tried out for American Idol.

She didn’t make it past the first round, where they put you in groups of four, because she “looked like everyone else”.

She should have made it. She has a really sweet, powerful, i guess you would call it a choir voice, kinda gospel but not? that could develop into something else.

Kelly, what a bummer. Maybe she can try again next year.
