Friday Ramblings

August 14, 2009 by Amy

This week I’ve been a total bum.  Not that I haven’t done anything, because I have.

I painted the hall bath cabinet and then ended up sanding it off.  It wasn’t sticking well so I sanded it down and put some good primer on it.  I’m still not sure what color I want it.

I organized and shopped triple coupons at Harris Teeter.

Made dinner almost every night.  And yes, that is an accomplishment.

However, I haven’t gotten a shower until 4pm every day.  That’s just what happens when Scott goes on nights and sleeps until lunchtime.

I’ve also spent every night catching up on Greek.  I’m halfway through Season 2 and expect to be done by the time Season 3 starts August 31.  Only problem is it’s the same night as One Tree Hill.  Thank goodness for DVR.

This weekend should be interesting.  Scott is supposed to do the kitchen counter top.  Which should be interesting since he has to sand the current laminate to prepare it for the new layer.  My house should be a hot mess soon.  This is supposed to happen between tonight’s baseball game and NEEDTOBREATHE in concert and tomorrow night’s visit to the lake with the youth group.  I will feel grateful if it is done.
