Our patio table umbrella was quite literally gone with the wind today. I found the umbrella like this in the yard. I must have caught it just after it happened.
I guess the wind was so strong it lifted it out of the table. In the meantime, it shattered the hole it was sitting in. Once I went outside, I could hear the glass continuing to shatter. I watched as one section fell through.
At that point, I grabbed my camera and caught the final demise of our patio table. See for yourself…

Gosh, that’s horrible Amy. The same thing happened to us not long ago.
I guess the weather really is unpredictable!
Wow! That is crazy.we have had bad wind but never had the table do that.
This is why we have wooden patio furniture up here in New England 🙂 At our Cape house and by our pool in good ol’ Carlisle.

That is just crazy! I can’t believe it broke like that (with such a delay)!!
I do have to say it’s really cool you were able to catch the shattering as it happened. That’s some live-action journalism, there! Sucks you have to deal with the mess and the broken table, though 🙁
