I kinda lose all sorts of levels of maturity when I see pictures of Zac Efron. Last night was the premiere of Charlie St. Cloud and I couldn’t help but need to comment on some of the pictures.
This? Is what I would do if I was near Zac Efron. Stand very close and stare at him with a cheesy smile. I imagine his reaction to be the same.

This? Could be a screen cap from High School Musical. I expect them to break out in song any moment.

Zac has been a long-standing favourite in our house; he just seems like a geniunely nice young man. The only poster still up on Leila's wall is the Rolling Stone cover from a few years ago (white shirt, rock hard abs). He has been her favourite for a LONG time (especially considering she's only 10).
I enjoy him much, much more than Taylor Lautner (nice body but looks WAY too young). I'll be seeing this one on opening night!
He does seem like a really nice guy, right? I'm hoping to see it too.
It was so strange reading a GQ interview with him becasue he sounded like a non-Disney 22 year-old. Even reading about him using cuss words was odd!
You're right about that last photo…he really is rather swoon-worthy (even for someone of my advanced age!). The previews of this movie have been really good; we're making it a mommy / daughter night out.
Glad to know I am not the only 30-something mom who loves High School Musical and well, Zac too! I feel normal 🙂
