BlogHop ’10

August 4, 2010 by Amy

If you’re from the BlogHop, I am SO EXCITED you’re here!  I know you have a lot of hopping to do so let’s get to it.

First and foremost, my faith is most important.  I’ve been a Christian since I was 7 and love God with all my heart!  I’ve been married for 12 years this week to my high school sweetheart and we have two girls that are 5 and 7.  By day, I’m a programmer for a large bank and am thankfully able to work from home.  It gets a little crazy around here because after work, I run OneTreeHillBlog.com, IHeartDannyGokey.com, FridayNightLightsFan.com and NBCParenthood.com.  Yes, TV is my guilty pleasure and I love to blog about it!  And this blog you’re on is my personal one that I’ve been running for over 8 years where everything and the kitchen sink goes.  If you stick around you’re gonna find posts on….

my faith

my children

techie stuff

fashion

celebrity

books, movies and TV

coupons

design

cooking (I cooked through Pioneer Woman‘s entire cookbook!)

Hopefully a few of those stood out to you.  I’d love to connect with you on Twitter or Facebook and would be thrilled if you subscribed and tried Permission to Peruse out for awhile.  Leave a comment to say hi and I’ll hop over to your blog!

I don't know how in the world you run all those sites, I'm exhausted thinking about it. I'm looking forward to reading your posts. See you around the Blog Hop and Twitter.

Oooooh I may have to check out the cookbook you mentioned – looks right up my alley! Thank you for all the sacrifices you all make as hometown heroes! Our Police, fire fighters, EMTs, ect don't get enough credit for the work they and their families do for this country! I can't wait to follow you!

Hi! Stopping in from the Blog Hop! I have two daughters, too and I just love watching their sister dynamic! I also LOVE Parenthood on NBC! It is my favorite show! I never miss it! Can't wait for the new season!

You cooked all the way through the Pioneer Woman's cookbook?! What a really cool project! So – tell me the truth – were all the dishes as wonderful as they look in the pictures?

Yes, ma'am, I did! No, not every single one actually. Some only because it just wasn't my thing…like too many olives in the olive bread (duh LOL) or enchiladas were way too hot. I would say though that 90% of it is fantastic. My kids know if I say it comes from PW, they know it's good!

And, Ohhh, I love PW recipes!

Now, I'm curious about the Pioneer Woman cookbook. I've been married to my high school sweetheart 15 years (as of July 22). I'm looking forward to checking your blog out more. You're being bookmarked!

Hi Amy, I found you from Blog Hop 2010. I can't believe you've cooked all of Ree's cookbook recipes! I love her blogs and love her cookbook. Even got to meet her when she was in Oregon. She was my motivation to start blogging.

Enjoyed looking around your site. Great shopping at Walgreens. Danny/Tim concert sounded fun.
