Top Ten Tuesday: Reuse Those Jars

May 24, 2011 by Amy

I recently discovered Pinterest. I SO wish I would have signed up before we did our addition. It would have been the perfect tool to gather all my design ideas. In any case, I signed up just when I was looking for a way to use my ever increasing jar collection. There’s something about a jar that I love. I just can not throw it away or even throw it in the recycling bin. I just love to have them around. The problem is I’m not crafty enough to figure out what to do with them other than store them in all my cabinets. Thank goodness for crafty bloggers and uh, Pinterest-ers. Make sure to follow the links below the photos to get to more pictures and many times, directions.

I know technically that’s more than 10 but I’m counting all the food in a jar as one 🙂

I think my favorite is the jars with the straw.  Or that caramel sauce.  Yum!  What’s yours?

I can’t stop collecting jars either! I really like the mounted toothbrush holder! How clever!

I also love the toothbrush holder! I’m redoing my bathroom in sort of a shabby-chic (I know, it’s kind of outdated but i still love it) and I think it would look FABULOUS with my decor (pink toile, black toile, and charcoal gray rugs). I also hate throwing them out so I have a few. I sometimes use them for chicken fat drippings or grease. I also have a ton of Foldgers coffee containers. Maybe I should look for those on Pinterest. Ha.

Wow, these give some great ideas! I love reusing stuff. And the ideas you’ve given are so organized, yet look clean, too! Thanks!
