Raised Garden Beds – The Before

April 14, 2012 by Amy

Alrighty, this is it. My little baby garden. I ended up switching out marigolds for more lettuce and broccoli.   I keep getting the feeling there’s too much in there.  I guess we’ll soon see.

I love these raised beds. We have been talking about doing this too. I have only ever planted tomatoes but would love to plant more with the kids at least for fun even if we have no green thumbs. Did your hubby have plans for the beds? My hubby isn’t the handiest guy but he says he could do it if I could find plans for him. I know it would be hard to decide what to plant. I think I will pick my faves and then let the kids pick too. Have a great time with the garden. This will work great for being gluten free!!!

No plans, Karen. He wouldn’t follow a plan even if he had one lol. Check out this post though and you can see on the inside what he did. http://permissiontoperuse.com/2012/03/20/raised-garden-gets-some-dirt/
