Wow, so Bettina and him really hit it off on their date.  But I have to agree with the girls in the house.  Something’s not right with her and then after seeing clips of her hometown date next week…she’s going to be gone.

I think Sheena’s date was awesome and they do seem genuine with one another.  I like her and as long as her mom doesn’t scare him off, I think they have a great chance.

I don’t like Deeana (sp?).  She’s too mean to the other girls.  I realize she’s not there to make friends but if can’t even be friendly to them, what does that say about how she treats people in general?  I think this is his "bad girl" out of the 4 left this week.

As for Jenny…he obviously is extremely attracted to her.  But there relationship doesn’t seem very deep.  I think this his "fun" girl.

Christie is just a stick in the mud.  Period.  She needs to go marry a lawyer or accountant or something.  (no offense to those married to a lawyer or accountant.  I’m married to a police officer for goodness sakes).  I’m just sayin’ I don’t see her marrying a guy that owns bars.

Hillary has lost her ever-lovin mind.  He was trying to tell her their just friends and she takes it as he wants me the most, he just can’t tell me right now.

This week was a great episode.  Good to see a new face in the crowd even though I don’t want to see Lauren and Gavin together.

Yes!  Yes!  Yes!  Grey’s was FINALLY back tonight.  Up until this episode, Grey’s hasn’t really felt much like Grey’s but tonight rocked. They finally found a good balance between existing storylines, the interns and the medicine.  I LOVED it.

The whole cafeteria beat-down thing was hilarious.  Well, until of course Izzie realized there wasn’t going to be such a thing and then it was sort of like watching a really embarrassing moment.

The old intern Norm was funny tonight.  I loved the use of "seriously" and replacement of words like untoward for uncool.  Hopefully that will be just this episode because too much of that will get old fast but I thought it was cute.

The storyline with the chief’s niece was heartbreaking.  She was so young.  And especially with my grandmother going through cancer and thinking a lot recently about how much it has shown in my family.  Well, it was tough to listen to her give up.

Derek’s confession at the elevators was super sweet.  He wants a lifetime.  Awww.  Hard-headed Meredith still can’t commit and it’s driving me crazy they’re still stretching THAT out.

But my favorite of all tonight was Alex.  Alex grew on me last season in a big way and tonight was another one of those moments.  You realize he’s mad at Izzie because he wanted to be the first after Denny.  And then when we walked in her room at the end.  Whoa!  That’s so swee-et.  I always wanted her and Alex together since Denny especially when he held her in that chair right after Denny died.  Aw, I hope they get together.

Definitely my favorite episode of this season and I hope that it just goes up from here.

OK, so this season started out pretty slowly if you ask me.  No huge drama girls this year.  There’s some tension but nothing like previous seasons.   This week was interesting with the twin thing.  OMG, there are two of him.  Sorry, ladies, the other one is taken though.  I can’t believe some of the girls didn’t notice.  It was pretty obvious they didn’t look alike.  

A few of the girls have pulled out on top so it’s time to start making predictions.  Jenni or Sheena seem to be the frontrunners for now.  Steffie, DeDe and Kristy all come in close behind them.

Wow.  That was a reunion show like no other.  Heather and Bret appear to want to make out on stage right before Jess comes out to see “her man” she hasn’t seen in 6 months.  Jess barely looks at Bret and says he picked the wrong one and Heather and Bret really belong together. 

I think I’m speechless.

We totally missed Survivor last night except just in time to see that our local girl Leslie Nease voted out.  I had heard she didn’t last too long so I guess the rumors are true.  I didn’t record it so I’m not sure what happened.  Especially since everyone seemed very sad she was leaving right after her name was announced. Anybody?

Please read this as a valley girl had written it as I’m not sure it will come out any other way.

Wow, just when you didn’t think it couldn’t get better, Elodie gets sweet revenge.  Just for the record, I don’t condone revenge, but if you’re going to do it, this is the way to go!  Heidi tells her boss–who just gave her a promotion she just had to have and stole from Elodie–that she has her “anniversary” to attend and can’t work.  Seriously?  If that was the reason I was asking off for work, I surely wouldn’t just say it like “It’s my anniversary tomorrow.”  and then pause to wait for my boss to go “OHHH, you shouldn’t be working, bless your heart, you should be celebrating.”  It’s their freakin’ dating anniversary..they aren’t even married yet!  And while we celebrated that while dating too, I never, ever, ever took off work for that.  That’s so silly. 

So of course who does Heidi ask to cover for her?  Elodie.  And to my surprise Elodie accepts.  I was like whaa?? And then Heather says, “I bet she doesn’t show up.”  I was like “Ohhh.  That would be GREAT.”

So then we see Spencer has gone “all out” and put a candle and some flowers on the same freakin table in the same freakin Mexican restaurant.  This.  This is what she took off work for??  Really?  And then we wait.  Wait for that phone call.  And it happens.  Yes!  You know Elodie has left her high and dry.  Heidi’s all “What? It’s a mess?  Elodie’s not there?  What?  Elodie quit yesterday? I’ll be right there.”  Yes!  Elodie completes her revenge and what does our lovely Spencer say, “You don’t love me.”  Wow, Happy Anniversary, Heidi.  THAT’S the jerk you’re marrying.

Sorry, do I seem a little bitter?  Yeah, I think I am actually.

As for Lauren…this is all I’ve got…Brody and Lauren sittin’ in a tree.  K.I.S.S.I.N.G.

OK, not actually all I’ve got.  They’re really cute together.  And while we all wish Jason wasn’t the jerk he is because Lauren is so darn cute with him, Brody seems to fit the bill for now. 

Can we talk about Justin Bobby for a moment?  Scott actually had me rewind The Hills so he could take a look at him again while they were going into the hotel room.  He is convinced Justin Bobby was wiping his nose for reasons other than a runny nose.  Yeah.  I certainly don’t want to be spreading rumors about that but come on?  Have you watched Justin Bobby?  The whole gangster hood thing going on should cause you to pause.  I don’t get why Audrina stays with him.  She sure took offense to her friends trying to say “I just wish he’d be polite and say hello”.  Look girls, if ALL your friends don’t like your boyfriend, THERE’S A REASON!

Just now finished watching the finale on TIVO and YAY!!!  He picked Jess!  Heather never looked so skanky as she did last night.  She looked pretty, yes, but skanky, double yes.  I can’t believe she was really mad that she had that tattoo after he dumped her.  Did she really think she was going to be with him forever??

I’m not sure Bret and Jess are made to be together forever either but they do seem like they can make a go of it.  She stayed true to herself and ended up winning him over with her concern, compassion and loyalty.  See, that stuff still matters.  And yes, we come out with a moral lesson from Rock of Love!
