I’ve been using Twitter quite a bit the past few weeks and I just did my TweetCloud.
The main words are getting, going, watching, working, bed, home. Yep, that just about sums it up.

Hey, guess what hasn’t come in yet?? Our hardwoods! Ding, ding, ding! I don’t know why I got a little hopeful that they’d actually be on time yesterday. Scott was to supposed to call yesterday but never did. I’m hoping he makes another visit to the big orange box to find out when and if they got shipped yet. At least we would know if they’re on the way.
*Update – Scott called and they HAVE shipped and have a date of 4/19 to be delivered.
Also I think we’re finally getting our landscaping friend to come spray some sort of very expensive chemical in our yard today that kills everything but our grass which means our yard is fixing to be dirt. We’re supposed to plant seed soon after doing this so I hope all that rain comes back and we might actually have real grass in our yard this summer.
Scott put new mulch out for the year last weekend and bought the boards to finish our deck around the pool. We still have a few other things on the list like painting the trim on the back porch door and repainting the concrete on the porch.
Whew. Looks like we (as in Scott) has a busy spring around here.

Let me start off by saying besides her low-cut and see-through shirt and tight pants, I was really impressed with Mariah. She had really good advice for the contestants, articulated her thoughts well and seemed genuinely happy to work with them.
David Archuleta – He was ok. I think the last 15 seconds or so saved him and they were really good.
Carly Smithson – She was pretty good the first time through but we went back and listened again and it wasn’t that great. She looked great though.
Kristi Lee Cook – Her hair was gorgeous this week. Good job, hair department. I enjoyed her song. Nothing amazing but it was good.
Syesha – Her performance was solid but as I was trying to explain to Heather, she’s almost too good..like perfectly…boring. There’s just nothing unique about her.
David Cook – Wow. I was so scared all day about that song. I was like why in the world would he sing the girliest song that she has. But wow, he really, really made it his own and it wasn’t ripped off by some band either. Hopefully his tears weren’t forced since everyone has been saying how confident he’s been but it seemed genuine and really it was warranted. That was a huge risk he took and he pulled it off. Heather pointed out the whole sick brother in attendance last night. Now I feel stupid. I even remember seeing the guy in the audience and thinking I wonder what’s wrong with him? Geez, *hanging head*.
Brooke White – This was one of my least favorite performance of the night and of hers altogether.
Jason Castro – I completely agree with Paula..I’d stay at the luau and listen all night. No, it may have not been the strongest vocal of the night but that would be a great song to get recorded and listen to over and over…
Favorites: David and Jason
In trouble: Brooke and Syesha
Twice today I was searching for some specific One Tree Hill info that people were asking me about and both times my One Tree Hill site pulled up as first in the search engine. Then the second result down on the second search was a forum where someone had copied and pasted info straight from our site. Hmph.

I heard Emma say to S “Mommy’s being mean” after I stopped her from jumping off the playroom table. Bad mommy, I know.
Then, I had to correct her after she pitched a fit because I wouldn’t let her eat a bowl of peanut butter in her room and I was trying to pick her up to hug her and she stared me down and said, “Leave. me. alone!”
Needless to say, we had a chat in my room and she was back to smiling and playing (and giving out hugs) afterwards but wow. I guess I don’t get a gold star today.

OK, I normally loathe Spencer but I was dying laughing at him last night with his statement something like “What is a relationship vacation? The rest of the world calls that breaking up.” That doesn’t sound so funny here but it was funny last night. Other comments about last night’s episode…
I like Lauren and Whitney working together. It just works.
Heidi got a little too upset about Spencer. For once I’m on his side.
Lauren got a little random about Audrina being friends with Heidi and Spencer’s sister. Audrina was talking about Spencer and Heidi and Lauren randomly makes the conversation about her.
Lexi: Turn that a little bit off.
Me: Turn my music down?? Why?
Lexi: It’s too loud. It hurts my ears.
Just for the record, it was SO NOT loud.
