Well it seems I made it through today. I think it was kind of questionable at moments. Last night Emma came down with a fever and has kept it all day. She threw up once this morning but otherwise hasn’t had any other symptoms. Once Lexi found out Emma was staying home, she wanted to stay too. And with no one to take to school it was hard getting up for the day. Which put me even more behind on getting ready for Disney.
As of 4 this afternoon, I still did not have stuff packed. Thankfully, once I was off work, I was able to do a whirlwind packing session. By 5, I was running my last errands to get Lexi’s pageant stuff printed and mailed.
We’ve actually been taking it easy this evening which is nice. Mom cooked us a great dinner and then IL’s came over to tell the kids by. We’re watching American Idol now and will hopefully catch some Grey’s before Kristyn, who is going with us, gets out of her mandatory dance practice.
I talked to Kristyn’s sister Heather tonight. She works in Disney. Looks like she’ll be Mickey while we’re in Animal Kingdom and can get us to the front of the line to meet them. Also her boyfriend can get us a fast pass to the Toy Story ride. AND we’re getting a private meet and greet with 3 princesses at the Magic Kingdom on Tuesday. I haven’t told the girls any of that and can’t wait to see them. Hopefully they won’t freak out!
I’m finally getting a bit excited to go. It feels good to know Kristyn is well-versed at Disney and that Heather is there and very willing to help us out.
Oh and I didn’t explain we decided to leave tonight and stop in Savannah. We’re hoping to get there early enough to go to Epcot since we have the extra ticket anyway.
So whew, off we go!

Praying you will have a safe and easy drive. Try to get Scott to take you on the Tower of Terror and Rockin’ Rollercoaster at MGM and Expedition Everest at the Animal Kingdom. You’ll scream yourself hoarse but it is SO much fun!
We’ll be thinking of you. Hope you all have a wonderful time.
