In this episode, Hannah and I open up about having tweens and how this interview was an answered prayer.

Hannah then shares the story of how her family was called to missions in Italy. Just days after being there they found out they couldn’t legally live or work there.  A “simple” international relocation became an unexpected adventure. They moved 20 times in seven months, and set foot in six countries. Every step of the way, they trusted God, focused on listening to God’s voice as a family and going where He was leading.

Scripture

I will give you hidden treasures,
    riches stored in secret places,
so that you may know that I am the Lord,
    the God of Israel, who summons you by name. Isaiah 45:3

I will sing to the Lord,
    for he is highly exalted.
Both horse and driver
    he has hurled into the sea.

The Lord is my strength and my defense;
    he has become my salvation.
He is my God, and I will praise him,
    my father’s God, and I will exalt him. Exodus 15:1-2

  Isaiah453

  1. I was listening to this while cooking and doing dishes, enjoying the story but then that quote: I am not qualified to define success in my life. I immediately burst into tears and God brought to mind several things that I deep down think of as failures. This touched a deep place in me that I didn’t know was there. Thank you both for sharing this.
