AdvoCare Gluten-Free Product Information and Alternatives

This is not an exhaustive list of of AdvoCare products with gluten. Nor am I doctor or even a nutritionist.  This is just my experience as a gluten sensitive consumer of AdvoCare.  None of the AdvoCare products are certified gluten-free so please use discretion if you are Celiac.  Please do research and decide for yourself what is best for your health and diet.

Here are the products that I believe to have gluten and what I use.

Herbal Cleanse W3171

The fiber drink contains oat fiber.  To be honest, I’m not sure if that means it has gluten or not but I know when you buy oats you need to buy gluten-free oats specifically.  However, I drink the fiber drink and I’m fine.

One other note, I heard the Herbal Cleanse pills had gluten in them, but I checked the ingredients and didn’t see any gluten related items. I’ve never had a problem taking them either.

Meal Replacement Shakes

T1361

The shakes do have gluten products in it.

I choose to use my own protein shake.  We love Fitness Pro’s Super Whey.

514MlBjEMmL

AdvoBar Raw

A3901

This raw bar has oats in it.  Unlike the fiber drink, the raw bars make my stomach bloat and I can’t eat them.

The AdvoCare VO2 Prime bars are a great alternative.

P6001

Or, I also like Pure Protein bars (not AdvoCare) too.

The other AdvoCare products we’ve used that we believe to be gluten-free:

  • Spark
  • ThermoPlus
  • Catalyst
  • MNS packets
  • Rehydrate
  • V02 bars
  • OmegaPlex
  • ProBiotic
  • Slim

I’ve also heard good things about these, but haven’t had a chance to try them yet:

  • LeptiLean
  • Carb-Ease
  • Oasis
  • Clear Mood
  • IntelleQ

If this list is not accurate, please let me know and share what other products you enjoy!

Thank you sooo much for writing this article. I had done the 24 day challenge about 3 years back before I had given up gluten. I have recently been slacking on my fitness mantra and my sugar increase is rediculous! So I wanted to get back on the 24 day challenge, as i started reading the ingredients started feeling a little discouraged. So I really appreciate you putting this article up and letting us know what effected you and didn’t.

Oh also I can vouch for the Oasis. It is amazing. I would take it when I was feeling overly stressed and it relaxed me like you would not believe! I never bloated when taking it.

Thank you so much for these posts. We are starting our first 24 day challenge, and we both are concerned about gluten issues. As I’ve been gluten free for some time now, I’ve also become more sensitive to gluten. I also have issues with oats. I’ll just have to be careful and see what happens.

I am extremely gluten sensitive. I can use the herbal cleanse without issue. I’ve just started the meal replacement shake…the vegetarian one. I’ve had 2 so far and no pain!!! It says on the package wheat based ingredients, but no wheat listed. I guess it refers to the oat bran. It’s my belief that the oats are processed enough to remove any wheat/gluten in it. I’ve been gluten free for 5years, I have to be extremely cautious with any contamination.

Thanks for brining up the Pure Protein bar, Amy. This seems like a good candidate for my bar site. More than 10g of protein and gluten free 🙂

Thank you for posting this! I too am doing the 24 day challenge and was concerned about the gluten issue. I also have used Quest brand of protein bars and they are great. I recommend smores, cookie dough or cookies and cream. My kids love them too. I will stick with those. Thanks for the suggestion on protein shake!

I am an Advocare Advisor, and I appreciate this blog a lot! This is always helpful for me to know when talking to people about the challenge.
Mainly I wanted to comment on the products you’ve heard of but haven’t tried yet… CLEAR MOOD AND OASIS ARE AMAZING. I used to struggle with anxiety before Advocare came into my life, and those 2 products have been incredible for helping me deal with it!!

Also, for any champs looking into the Advocare 24 Day Challenge, DO IT! It has changed so many peoples lives including mine. Invest in yourself!! You deserve to be healthy and your family deserves the best version of you that you can be!

Anyways, thank you again for this! 🙂

Thank you so much for this information!
I am on day 2 of the 24 day challenge and I feel miserable!! I have Celiac disease but the coach said that the products are GF which is why I started.
I am in so much pain! It is in a strange place too, right around my belly button. I feel nauseous, bloated and dizzy. Does anyone know if this is the “cleansing” or if this is gluten related. I’ve only taken the spark and the fiber this morning.
I’m really confused and don’t want to give up because I hear that it is amazing.
    Help please!
